Looking for a good summer
book to read???
The St. Asaph's Book Club meets the third Monday of each month from September through June at the Timbers restaurant in Ladysmith at 6:00. At our September meeting we will be discussing "The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace". Click here for the link on Amazon.
All are welcome to come to Morning Prayer on Saturday mornings at 8 AM. The service is informal and lasts about 20 minutes.
We draw upon our trial calendar Holy Women, Holy Men as appropriate to inform our spirits and our readings.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Beginning on Tuesday, June 2, our Tuesday morning Bible study will continue our journey through Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life by Fr. Richard Rohr. We begin at 10: 30 a.m. and end at noon.
Adult Education Forum
On Sunday, June 7, at 9: 30 a.m., our adult education forum will begin to consider “What Do Anglicans Believe?” We will look at the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion in The Book of Common Prayer which were crafted to forge a middle way between the extremes of Catholicism and the Protestant Reformation.
God Speed Rob, Karis, James and Robby. We miss you!
Feed the Hungry Sunday
The first Sunday of every month is designated as "Feed the Hungry Sunday." You are invited to bring non-perishable food which will be given to support the work of Glory Outreach here in Bowling Green. Glory Outreach is a ministry of Salem Baptist Church which offers food and clothing to those in need. Don't forget to bring donations for our furry friends who are in need!
